Ero in una clessidra,  
imprigionata dal tempo.
 Ogni secondo era un grosso granello di sabbia  
che cadeva pesante  
bloccandomi sempre più,  
soffocandomi.
Ho rotto la clessidra,
 ho lasciato la sabbia alle spalle  
ed ho ricominciato a respirare.   

Ero un burattino di legno  
legato a dei fili, 
se mi ribellavo s’attorcigliavano  
e m’avvinghiavano sempre di più.  
Ho tagliato i fili 
ed ora son libera di correre nel vento.

  Ero smarrita in un labirinto di specchi,
 confusa da mille immagini di me...  
Ho spaccato i vetri  e ho ritrovato me stessa.  
Ho ricominciato a sognare  e a sorridere alla vita;  
quando sembrava finita  ho iniziato a volare.
